The Nokia X10 design shares the same design language as the more premium Nokia X20, at the same time looking very far from what we had on the Nokia X5 (Nokia 5.1) we saw in the past.
Innovation is sort of far from this delivery. What we have here can sort of be described as par for the course for smartphones in this price category.
On the rear, we have a color scheme that delivers a lighter shade at the edges. The placements on the rear, include a circular camera module with four cameras. Also on the rear, is an LED flash and the Nokia branding, which indicates it’s a Nokia smartphone.
Upfront, we have a 6.67 inches IPS LCD with a punch-hole camera in the top middle position. Beneath this display is the chunkiest bezel bearing the Nokia branding. The highlights of this display include a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a density of approximately 395 PPI.
The Cameras
Smartphone releases in recent times have been brought about different innovations in the mobile phone camera sector. However, the Nokia X10 is void of any innovation. It’s more of a smartphone following the crowd. Again this didn’t come as a surprise considering its price category.
The rear holds four cameras, which include a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Video record with this camera is capped at 1080p @ 30fps.
Upfront on the selfie department, we have a single 8MP camera capable of shooting videos up to 1080p @ 30fps
Hardware and Software
The Nokia X10 holds one of the most promising newbie processors in town. It’s a Snapdragon 480 5G processor. A low-tier mid-range processor with 5G support.
Also on-board the performance train includes an Adreno 619 GPU, a non-removable 4,470mAh Li-Po battery paired with an 18W fast charge mechanism.
The RAM and storage options available on this device include 64GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM, and 128GB 6GB RAM.
On the software side, we have got a stock Android user interface running on the Android 11 operating system.
Connectivity
The Nokia X10 features low-energy Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C 2.0.
Internet connectivity on this device is capped at 5G, which means enthusiasts will be able to utilize 5G connectivity for downloads, streaming, and uploads.
